Through the first 2500 km and at ТО-2 and also if at the equipped car at braking on a dry firm covering back wheels are blocked before lobbies or much later, it is necessary to be convinced of correctness of adjustment of a regulator.
Regulator adjustment should be made in a following order:

- To disconnect from an arm 23 (fig. 8.4 see) on the back bridge the bottom end of a rack 24 regulators, having turned on for this purpose a nut of an axis 5;
- To turn on on some turns a counternut 10 and, rotating an adjusting bolt 11, to establish distance With: for ГАЗ-2705 and ГАЗ-2705 "Kombi" — 13 17 mm; for buses — 28—32 mm between an axis 6 and an aperture in an arm 23;
- To tighten a counternut, keeping an adjusting bolt from проворачивания;
- To fix the bottom end of a rack on an arm of the back bridge.
It is necessary to check up correctness of adjustment of a regulator of pressure braking before blocking of wheels on a horizontal site of road with a firm dry covering with a speed of 50 60 km/h. At the serviceable and correctly adjusted regulator of pressure at effective braking there should be some advancing of blocking of forward wheels concerning back. If back wheels are blocked before lobbies follows, preliminary having turned away a counternut 10, to turn on on a half-turn an adjusting bolt 11 and again законтрить it. If forward wheels are blocked much more before back it is necessary to turn an adjusting bolt on a half-turn.
After performance specified above operations again check up installation of a regulator by braking on road.
It is necessary to remember that at advancing blocking of back wheels car drift and if forward brakes are blocked much more before back loss of controllability of the car is possible, especially at movement on slippery road is possible.
