Replacement колодок should be made simultaneously on the right and left brake mechanisms in a following order (fig. 8.8):

- To remove a wheel;

- To drown the piston скобы вытягиванием cases скобы on itself. For simplification of replacement of a brake liquid from the case cylinder opening of the valve of prorolling is supposed, preliminary it is necessary to put on it a rubber hose. To close the prorolling valve as soon as the piston will completely be drowned in the case cylinder;

- Keeping from rotation one of directing fingers a wrench, to turn out a bolt of fastening of a finger;

- To turn the case brake скобы round the second directing finger, access to колодкам thus opens;

- To take brake колодки;

- To clear of a dirt directing grooves and basis ledges against which lean колодки;

- Attentively to check up:

• a condition of a protective cover of the piston. If ruptures or cracks are found out on it, it is necessary to replace it on new («Repair of the brake mechanism of a forward wheel» see);

• a condition of covers of directing fingers. At detection of destructions it is necessary to replace a cover («Repair of the brake mechanism of a forward wheel») see;

• moving of fingers to the basis. Moving should be a lung, without jamming. At detection of the complicated moving of fingers to make their dismantling and if necessary to replace («Repair of the brake mechanism of a forward wheel») see.

- To establish in the basis new колодки;

- To turn the case brake скобы in a starting position, having convinced of correctness of an arrangement of springs колодок and installations of covers of fingers;

- To wrap a bolt of fastening of a finger and to tighten its moment 32—39 Н·м (3,2—3,9 кгс·м);

- To press some times a brake pedal while on it resistance not begins to be felt.

The first 80—100 km of run after installation of new overlays while they were not earned extra, it is necessary to be careful at braking as the brake way of the car can be a little increased. During this period it is necessary to avoid long braking not to overheat brake overlays in process extra earnings.
