Care of a transmission consists in periodic external examination, check of fastening of a transmission to картеру couplings, fastenings forward and back картеров, cases of the lever of switching, доливке and oil change through 60 000 km of run and clearing сапуна according to instructions on car service.

To merge oil follows right after trips while it is hot. If the fulfilled oil appears very dirty and in it metal particles contain, the box is necessary for washing out.

To wash out a transmission follows in the way specified more low:

• through a bulk aperture on the right side of a box to fill in in картер 0,9 l трансмиссионного oils;

• to lift a jack one or both back wheels and, having included 1st transfer, to start up the engine for 2—3 minutes;

• to merge oil through a drain aperture in the bottom part картера boxes;

• to fill картер fresh трансмиссионным with oil to level of a bulk aperture (if the aperture is located on the right side) or on 7 mm below level of a bulk aperture (if the aperture is located on the left side). At box refuelling it is not necessary to turn gear wheels as it will be thus filled in oils more than follows that can cause an oil leak through extension piece epiploons.

Oil level check through a bulk aperture on the car standing on a horizontal platform, after a while after a trip to give the chance to oil to cool down and flow down from walls, and to foam — to settle.

While in service it is necessary to pay special attention on a condition сапуна, located above forward картера.

Сапун serves for the message of an internal cavity of a box with atmosphere, and its pollution leads to increase of pressure and occurrence of a leak of oil.

In an initial stage of operation to extra earnings of epiploons it is supposed insignificant (but not in the form of drops) infiltration of oil and occurrence of an oil touch on the body bottom in a zone of a cap of a sliding plug карданного a shaft.

At dismantle карданного a shaft it is necessary to observe instructions (Kardannaja transfer »see«). The aperture in the extension piece should be muffled special заглушкой or a spare sliding plug in avoidance вытекания oils from a transmission. If special заглушка is absent, before removal of a transmission from the car it is necessary to merge preliminary from it oil.
