The generator 9422.3701 — the three-phase synchronous electric car with electromagnetic excitation with built in выпрямительным the block and a pressure regulator. The generator device is shown on fig. 9.58.

Internal parts and generator windings are cooled by air which is blown through windows in back and forward covers by means of two rotors of centrifugal fans established on a shaft 11. On fig. 9.59 the electric scheme of the generator is shown.
The generator is resulted in rotation with the help поликлинового a belt from a pulley of a cranked shaft of the engine. Formed in the presence of a current in an excitation winding the rotating magnetic field crosses windings статора, induces in them a variable electric current. The alternating current will be transformed in выпрямительном the block in constant and further arrives to consumers.
The generator works in common with the built in electronic regulator of pressure Я212А11Е. The regulator supports pressure of the generator in the set limits.

Generator maintenance service
At maintenance service it is necessary to make check of fastening of the generator and generator arms, if necessary to tighten.
To make check of a regulator of pressure and щеточного generator knot:
- To remove a regulator of pressure with щеточным in knot from the generator.
To clear brushes of a dust and a dirt, to check up height of brushes and ease of their moving under action щеточных springs. At выступании brushes less than 4,5 mm a regulator of pressure with brushes or brushes to replace.
If necessary to check up adjustable pressure («generator Repair» see).
To wipe gasoline contact rings. In case of them изнoca or подгорания to smooth out or pierce as directed section «generator Repair».
Generator repair
For generator removal:
1. To disconnect the storage battery from an onboard network of the car.
2. To disconnect wires from the generator.
3. By means of the tension device to weaken a tension приводного a belt and to remove it.
4. To turn away two bolts of fastening of the generator to arms and to remove the generator.
For generator installation:
1. To establish two bolts of fastening of the generator to arms.
2. If on the engine it is necessary to establish the new generator it is preliminary necessary to release a coupling bolt of a back eye of the top arm. In a back eye to establish the plug and preliminary to establish the top bolt with a small inhaling of fastening of the generator to an arm. Then to fix the generator to the bottom arm. Definitively to fix the top bolt and to tighten a coupling bolt of a back eye of the top arm.
3. To make a definitive inhaling of bolts of fastening of the generator.
At dismantling of the generator which is subject to repair:
- To remove a protective casing 1 (fig. 9.58 see);
- To remove a regulator of pressure with щеткодержателем and brushes 2, to disconnect a wire from a pressure regulator;
- To turn away four coupling screws of the generator and to remove a back cover 7 with статором 20;
- To disconnect the phase ends of a winding статора from выпрямительного the block 22, to remove статор;
- If necessary to remove выпрямительный the block;
- If necessary to remove from a shaft of a rotor a pulley;
- If necessary to remove from a rotor shaft a forward cover 13 together with the bearing.

The control of details of the generator should be made a control lamp (fig. 9.60 see) or device E236.
Regulator of pressure and щеточный knot
Brushes should be whole, without having chopped off and other defects; brushes should move freely in channels щеткодержателя under the influence of springs. The brushes which have been worn out to height выступания of 4,5 mm, are subject to replacement together with a pressure regulator. It is necessary to check up effort of springs of brushes for what acting from щеткодержателя the end of one brush to press on a cup of scales. For check of adjustable pressure it is necessary to collect the scheme shown on fig. 9.62.
Conclusions from a lamp 1 to connect to different brushes. To establish pressure of a source 12 In, the lamp should burn. Raising pressure of a source 2, to establish, at what pressure the lamp 1 will go out. It also will be adjustable pressure a pressure regulator. It should be within 13,5—14,2 V.Esli pressure does not keep within the specified limits, the pressure regulator is subject to replacement.

At статора to check up absence of short circuit of its windings on the case. For this purpose it is necessary one tip from a control lamp (fig. 9.60 see) to connect to the case, and to another serially to concern one of three conclusions of a winding (fig. 9.64 see). The lamp should not to burn. If the lamp burns, it specifies in winding short circuit статора on the case. In this case it is necessary to eliminate damage or to replace статор. Then it is necessary to check up integrity of windings статора. For this purpose the control lamp is serially connected to two tips of conclusions of a winding статора (fig. 9.64 see). At a serviceable winding the lamp should burn. If between any two conclusions the lamp does not burn, it specifies in breakage of a winding or on connection infringement in an average point of phases.
Windings статора also should be checked on absence витковых short circuits by means of an ohmmeter. On poles статора there should not be traces задевания for them of a rotor. At presence задеваний to check up the plastic holder of the bearing; if necessary to replace it.
To be convinced that the bearing on a cover from outside a pulley sits densely.

The generator rotor is necessary for checking up on absence витковых short circuits with the help омметpа (fig. 9.65 see), attaching its tips to contact rings. By means of a control lamp to check up on absence of short circuits of a winding of excitation on the case. For this purpose a tip to connect to the rotor case, and to another serially to concern one of two contact rings (fig. 9.66 see). In the presence of damages the rotor is subject to replacement. If at survey of contact rings of a rotor it is revealed that they are polluted and have traces подгорания and non-uniform deterioration on width, to smooth out its small skin granularity 80 or 100. For зачистки rings it is necessary to fix a rotor for a flange of a forward cover in a vice, smoothly turning a rotor, to make зачистку rings a skin.
If rings have strong deterioration and surface palpation, they should be pierced on a lathe. The roughness of rings after processing should have parametre Ra 1,25. Is minimum admissible diameter проточки contact rings of 12,603 mm. After проточки to check up the indicator palpation of contact rings. Palpation of rings is more 0,08 mm leads fast подгоранию rings and to deterioration of brushes, especially at high turns of the engine. Rotor bearings should rotate easily without jammings and big люфтов (no more than 0,25 mm).

It is necessary to do more careful check of diodes by means of devices for check of semi-conductor devices. After the termination of survey and replacement of defective details, the generator should be collected.

Generator assemblage is made in an order, the return to dismantling. After assemblage the generator is necessary for checking up.
Serviceability of the generator and correctness of its assemblage is defined by check on frequency of rotation of a rotor at which the generator starts to give a current in 40 And and 70 A.Proverka are made on the test bed consisting of the electric motor, rotation of a rotor of the generator smoothly changing frequency to 5000 mines-1, the voltmeter, the ampermeter, a rheostat creating loading to 70 And in a chain of the generator and the storage battery (fig. 9.69 see).
For check of serviceability of the generator it is necessary to include the switch 7, the control lamp 9 thus should light up. To finish frequency of rotation of the generator to 1500 mines-1, the voltmeter 8 should show pressure 13В. The control lamp 9 should go out. To increase frequency of rotation of the generator to 1800 mines-1 and to include the switch 4. Реостататом 5 to establish on the ampermeter 3 loading 40 A.Uvelichit frequency of rotation of the generator to 5000 mines-1 and to establish by means of a rheostat 5 loading 70 A. Bольтметр 8 should show pressure 13,5—14,2 Century
The serviceable generator with a pressure regulator should satisfy to the above-stated parametres. The specified check can be spent at stand E242.
